Corduroy

• If it gets dirty, clean the stain as soon as possible with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not rub hard to avoid damaging the fabric.
• If you need to wash the whole thing, you can hand wash it with cold water; in a washing machine, inside out and on a delicate cycle; or the best option, take it to the laundromat.
• Do not use a dryer, air dry and avoid the sun to prevent fading.
• Close it before washing the bag and make sure the closures are not wet after washing.
• Never use chlorine or bleach.

Canvas

• The canvas doesn't need to be washed frequently; wash it when it's visibly dirty or smells bad.
• If it gets dirty, clean the stain as soon as possible with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not rub hard to avoid damaging the fabric.
• If you need to wash it all, take it to the laundromat.
• If it has bright colors, wash it separately the first few times to prevent color bleeding.
• Close it before washing the bag and make sure the closures are not wet after washing.
• You can apply a protective spray (waterproofing or stain-resistant). This helps prevent dirt buildup and makes it easier to clean.
• Never use chlorine or bleach.

Denim

Colored denim tends to lose its dye with each wash.

• If there's only one stain, clean it by hand in that area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Wash inside out in cold water with color-safe laundry soap or mild detergent.
• Hand wash, or machine wash on a delicate cycle.
• Avoid mixing colors. For example, don't wash a red bag with a black or a white one.
• Avoid direct sunlight, as it fades brighter dyes. Let it air dry, either hanging or flat, and never use a dryer.
• You can use a color enhancer for dyed clothes (sold in laundry stores) if the color starts to fade.
• Close it before washing the bag and make sure the closures are not wet after washing.
• Never use chlorine or bleach.

Washed denim

• If you need to wash the whole thing, you can hand wash it with cold water.
• Use neutral soap or detergent for delicate clothes.
• You can wash it in the washing machine, inside out, with cold water and on a delicate cycle.
• Air dry in the shade. Do not use a dryer.
• If it's very light-colored denim or bleached white, be careful of rubbing it against dark clothing (like new jeans), as it can become stained by color transfer.
• Close it before washing the bag and make sure the closures are not wet after washing.
• Never use chlorine or bleach.

Nylon

• If your bag needs a deep clean, hand wash it in a sink or tub with cold water. Submerge the bag and gently rub the soiled areas.
• Avoid using hard brushes that could damage the fabric.
• Avoid the washing machine: Although nylon is durable, the washing machine can be very harsh on the seams and hardware of your bag.
• Drying: Very important! After cleaning your bag, let it air dry completely.
• Never use chlorine or bleach.
